This is a 60 mins class and will be conducted over Microsoft Teams.

Materials needed:

1. Paper (A4 size)
2. Pencil
3. Sharpener
4. Eraser

6. Water Colours
7. Colour Palette
8. Glass of water
9. Kitchen Towel/Tissue paper

The workshop will introduce you to the heritage of this artform, summarise the painting techniques and materials involved. A ‘Kamal’ or Lotus Flower will be the subject of our workshop. ‘Kamal’, a recurring symbol in Hindu philosophy, of purity, is also stock-in-trade of botanical subjects within Indian Miniature Painting. You will sketch and paint a Lotus Flower within the allocated time.
