Workshops

You can enjoy a hands-on experience of Indian arts and crafts through our curated workshops. We hold workshops on three artforms, namely, Madhubani, Gond and Indian Miniature Painting. Each workshop is for a duration of 1 hour.

The workshops are taught in a storytelling style, wherein history, social, economic and cultural significance of the chosen artform is explained to our fellow arts-crafts enthusiasts, while they learn to draw-paint a typical imagery from that artform.

All workshops are interactive and participants are encouraged to ask questions while they create!

Lectures

KraftGurus conducts short lectures of 45 mins on various aspects of India and Indian aesthetics, arts and crafts.

Popular lecture topics include ‘Incredible India’, A number’s game, Indian Festivals, Timelessness of Indian aesthetics, Indian aesthetics in Yoga, Ayurveda and Indian Cuisine, Luxury of  Indian Arts-Crafts in architecture, Sarees and Textiles, World of Fashion and Indian heritage arts-crafts.

Courses

KraftGurus offers courses on selected topics and Indian arts-crafts. Each course runs for 6 weeks and each week’s duration is 1.5 hours.

These courses are run exclusively online. Here we deep dive into understanding a chosen topic and/or art-craft.

At the end of each session, participants will receive a challenge to complete before their next class!’
