This course will provide a space to connect and bring people together whilst doing art mindfully and increasing a feeling of well-being and creative revitalisation. It will be taught in an informal and interactive format, with presentations shared on screen. There will be a 5 mins break in the middle of the session.

Indian Miniature Painting are distinct. They are small-scale, highly detailed with intricate brushwork. This artform has a long history, earliest paintings dating back to 8th BCE, showcasing Hindu worldview and history on media like palm leaf manuscripts, cloth, wall surfaces and paper. There are many Indian Miniature schools studying different themes and employing painting techniques. Its repertoire is vast, and this course gives an overview of this artform over six topics.
