This is a 60mins class and will be conducted over Microsoft Teams.

Materials needed:

1. Paper (A4 size)
2. Pencil
3. Sharpener
4. Eraser
5. Ruler
6. Black Sketch/Gel pen

The workshop will introduce you to the heritage of this artform, summarise the painting techniques and materials involved. You shall see a few typical paintings made by grassroots artists. One of the distinctive aspects of Madhubani painting are its borders, which can be done in several different styles. You shall learn to create simple border designs in one style.
